I began my writing career when I was thirteen. I took a notebook with me everywhere I went, jotting down different story plots and ideas. I would constantly get yelled at in school. My mom bought me a laptop when I was fifteen and it changed my life. I posted my work up on Fanfiction and excelled. It encouraged me to branch out to other topics. And that's when I first began writing Scream

I got married 2017 and since we've had three kids in six years. It's been an adjustment, but it is everything I could want and more. My husband is my best friend. My kids are my troublemakers. And though there are days where all I want to do is write, I do only have a limited amount with them being so small. Luckily, I can do both. I have a big family that helps me balance my time between building my career and having kids. I get the best of both worlds.

I began writing Scream and War in Heaven at the same time. I was struggling with my faith and needed a way to work through it. There is a saying that I've never liked 'Everything happens for a reason'. So I created Scream as a way to understand that saying and wrote War in Heaven as a way to understand God. I'm glad to say with help, I've made peace with it. If you notice, Scream and I both struggled with God. I wanted nothing else for her character than to find her own peace.
